With the P39 only days away from it’s new home and the re-assembly team ready to leave early next week the rest of the hangar is now changing shape. The wing jigs have been erected and building P40 wings now is starting in earnest with at least 2 sets needed. To accommodate this the P40-E has been moved into the “next out the door”...

With the P39 on the water and heading for its new home at Virginia Beach it is time for us to again concentrate on P40’s. This includes carrying out the annual servicing on Ardmore based P40 ZK-CAG and getting her ready for the Omaka airshow.

The P39 has now finished test flying, been granted a non terminating C of A and is now being packed and containerised for it’s trip to the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia U.S.A. All this has happened this week! While we are sad to see it go we are excited at the prospect of it flying in Virginia in the near future.
