With the P39 on the water and heading for its new home at Virginia Beach it is time for us to again concentrate on P40’s. This includes carrying out the annual servicing on Ardmore based P40 ZK-CAG and getting her ready for the Omaka airshow.

If I was still living in Auckland I’d certainly be offering my devices.2008 when I was working for an engineering company in Cairns a small team of us built a full size Spitfire. Only difference was that at the time a Merlin power plant and proposed were not available (budget), a big Continental was used and the wing profile was altered to suit the lighter weight. It looks nice now that it is flying.
